And we have a winner!!

We are very excited to announce that Panther Robotics from the Pine Crest School of Ft. Lauderdale, FL will be representing Florida at the 2016 MATE International ROV Competition! As a Ranger Team, Panther Robotics is a first time competitor in the Florida Regional event and we are excited to follow along as they travel and compete in the NBL! In Second Place we had a tie between the Marine Robotics company of Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School and the Apopka Robotics company from Apopka High School. It was a close event with the win going to the Panther Robotics company for successfully earning all 20 points in the size category and all 20 points in the weight category. Our Scout Teams had a great day too! The Canterbury School of Florida won both first and second place with the Canterbury UBOs taking a 5 point lead over the Canterbury Crusaders. Not far behind in 3rd place was the Palm Beach Maritime Academy Scout Company called the Explorers! Congrats to everyone! Good luck in Texas Panther Robotics! We'll be watching!
